has “mutated” over the last 20 years from a traditionally conservative party that argued for limited government and traditional values into an “insurgent force that threatens the norms and institutions of American democracy.”
No doubt both parties have their faults, and the two party system is not perfect either. But to blame one party only is merely partisanship.
I say that the biggest problem with government at all levels is that representatives are elected, not chosen, a problem fixed by canton forums.
